What’s Included

  • All meals, lodging, classes, and recreational activities are included in Pine Valley’s outdoor education programs.
  • Teachers and school admin can stay in dorms with their students. Or, if they select other chaperones as cabin leaders, private lodge rooms are available.
  • A Pine Valley Outdoor Ed Student Book is required for classes. Schools can choose whether they want to print the book template ahead of time or request for Pine Valley to print them ahead of time for a modest fee of one dollar per book. At the end of outdoor ed, students can turn these books into their teacher for a grade.
  • Schools will additionally need to plan for transportation to and from Pine Valley. Many schools charter buses, while others carpool. We have a large camp parking lot available for overnight parking.
  • Students and chaperones can bring spending money for the grill, gift shop, coffee shop, and beverage vending machines during afternoon activity time.
  • We offer “extras” to help enrich the outdoor education experience.
    • Schools can purchase bedtime snacks of fruit or cookies for all their campers for fifty cents per person per night.
    • We have an online store where schools or individuals can purchase Pine Valley merch such as t-shirts, hoodies, and more.
    • While all curriculum is provided during your time at Pine Valley, some teachers like to have extra time teaching their students. If you’d like to schedule a time to do this, you can choose an outdoor area or rent a meeting hall to use as your classroom.
  • Starting Costs: Price is based on a per-person system, and varies based on the number of nights and the number of meals. For example, a two-night camp that includes six meals starts at about $250 per person. A 10% discount is offered to schools who come in December with at least 50 campers.
